Motörheadin viimeinen Espanjan-keikka Resurrection festivaalilta 17.7.2015 katsottavissa kokonaisuudessaan. Nopeasti on sairaus edennyt.

Mutta korvaani pisti kappaleen Lost Woman Blues alussa Lemmyn spiikki "this is from our last (vai olikohan latest) album" Eihän tuo ole kuin Aftershockilta vuodelta 2014 vai kuulinko väärin.

^ Kiitos Nicholas, aivan mahtava tribuuttikirjoitus!

http://www.v2.fi/uutiset/viihde/24473/M ... myn-poika/

Motörhead Music suosittelee vahvasti edesmenneen Lemmy Kilmisterin itsensä kiinnittämän bändin Buddersiden syyskuussa ilmestyvää debyyttialbumia. Bändin nimeä kantavan albumin on tuottanut Lemmyn poika Paul Inder Kilmister.

Löytyi tämmöinen mukavan virneen suupieliin nostava kunnianosoitus Legendalle 8)

You see me wearing denim and leather;
my hair is long, my face is ugly dirty and mean.
Out of your world, out of your law; I fight for my life on my own.

I've come from hell to pillage your town. I've declared war to the world.
My amplifier will bring your home down when you hear my electric bass roar,
'cause I'm a goddamn bad machine.

Speed, freedom and action I dig. My reputation is so meaningless to me.
More than a thousand women I’ve ridden, even I stink of whiskey and smoke.

I've come from hell to pillage your town. I've declared war to the world.
My amplifier will bring your home down when you hear my electric bass roar;
So you’d better take care.

49% Motherfucker.
51% Son of a bitch

December's child, the only one,
What I do, is what I've done,
I realise, I get so cold,
When I was young I was already old,
My life, my heart, black night, dark star, Capricorn

I always knew, the only way,
Is never live, beyond today,
They proved me right,
They proved me wrong,
But they could never last this long,
My life, my heart, black night, dark star, Capricorn

Odotan mielenkiinnolla.

Kävikö porukka kattoo Phil Campbell And The Bastard Sonsia?

Iconic MOTÖRHEAD Frontman LEMMY's Estate Worth Far Less Than Originally Thought: Report

March 3, 2017

http://www.blabbermouth.net/news/iconic ... ed-report/

According to Mirror, newly released records show that MOTÖRHEAD's iconic frontman Lemmy Kilmister only left his beneficiaries a few hundred thousand pounds at the time of his death — several million less than originally estimated.

The London probate office's figures indicate that Lemmy had an estate worth only £528,806 (approximately $650,000) when he died in December 2015.

Lemmy was originally thought to have had a substantial estate — estimated by some sources to have been around £6.75 million (around $8.28 million) — which is expected to earn royalties from his recordings worldwide for decades to come.

LEMMY's Long-Awaited Solo Album Could Finally Arrive Later This Year

March 29, 2017

http://www.blabbermouth.net/news/lemmy- ... this-year/

Late MOTÖRHEAD frontman Lemmy Kilmister's long-awaited solo album could finally arrive before the end of 2017.

According to Metal Talk, Jim Voxx of the German band SKEW SISKIN revealed that he was putting the finishing touches on the disc, which has been in the works for a number of years.

"I still don't know when it will be released because this is in the hands of the MOTÖRHEAD management, and it took a while," Voxx said. "Lemmy had so many things left, there are so many other recordings, and they all had to sort out how to proceed and there is no real time rush to release this album, so I can imagine it will be towards the end of this year."

Lemmy had collaborated with SKEW SISKIN on several occasions, including on two songs which were slated to appear on his debut solo album. Those two tracks — reportedly titled "Stand Upon The Mountain" and "Don't Matter To Me" — were being produced by Voxx at SKEW SISKIN's Monongo studios in Berlin.

Voxx added the project started in 2003, but Lemmy "didn't have a real idea what would be on it, so he came to me and asked me if I would work with him."

"He wanted to take his time," Voxx explained. "It was the total opposite of working with MOTÖRHEAD because he had to do it in his free time between the MOTÖRHEAD work. I gave him the possibility always to come here and work in the studio whenever he needed, and step-by-step we got the songs together. We have 10 songs, and we thought it would have been released a long time ago, but when Lemmy got ill, we stopped working on it, but the recordings were all done."

Lemmy revealed in a 2013 interview that he was thinking about calling his debut solo album "False Teeth For The Deaf". He said: "It's all just great rock and roll, that's the only way to describe it. Some of it is bluesy and some isn't. It's not MOTÖRHEAD, but obviously there are elements in common."

Lemmy's solo album is expected to include two songs that were recorded with the REVEREND HORTON HEAT (described by Lemmy as "some good psycho-metal-billy"), two with THE DAMNED (including a cover of THE DAMNED's "Neat Neat Neat"), a track with Dave Grohl (FOO FIGHTERS, NIRVANA) and a cut with Joan Jett.

Kilmister said in 2013 that he was planning to lay down a song with SKUNK ANANSIE vocalist Skin for his solo album, but it's not clear if those recording sessions ever took place.

At least a couple of the tracks Voxx produced for Lemmy's solo album feature a full horn section, a saxophone player and a blues piano player.

Motörhead to release Under Cöver in September 2017
Covers compilation to include new version of David Bowie’s “Heroes”, (above)

In celebration of some of those finest moments, the band will release Under Cöver, a collection of some of their best covers, and a collection which will include the previously unreleased version of David Bowie’s timeless classic “Heroes”. Recorded during the Bad Magic sessions in 2015 by Cameron Webb, and was one of the last songs the band recorded together.
“It’s such a great Bowie song, one of his best, and I could only see great things coming out of it from us, and so it proved to be,” says Phil Campbell, “and Lemmy ended up loving our version.”
“He was very, very proud of it,” says Mikkey Dee, “not only because it turned out so well but because it was fun! Which is what projects like this should be – fun!”
